WARNING: Excessive complaining ahead.

Ladies and gentleman, frogs and mice, and Hooligans of all ages, if I can have your attention for a moment please....I'd like to make a little announcement...

I'm going back to graphite.


I don't know how you color pencil artists do it. It's all layering colors, and is this complementary, is that complementary, how do I blend... A 2B pencil looks just fine next to a 3B. Why do you have to be complicated color pencil, huh, why? Are you jealous because you're colorful and not grayscale like graphite?

Seriously, the skin color itself was a pain in the ass (pardon me French kiddos). Getting skin color with watercolors isn't that complicated.. why, because it's water.. that's why!



So yeah, moving on to the only positive part out of all of this.

Materials:
6x6 Strathmore Bristol Vellum 300 Series
Prismacolor watercolor pencils (minus the water, plus all their waxy goodness).
Faber Castell Polychromos

Okay, now on to why I used two brands of color pencils.. I don't know. I started it off with the prismas and I have a gap between my classes and it's by the art store and I had my credit card with me so I decided to kill time and the polychromos tagged along and somehow got involved in this mess of a drawing.

Also, colors are off. I'm not a pro-editor or photographer. So the grapes (look terrible, I know) were mostly drawn with FC polychromos, main color is Light green (171). So that might give an idea of the colors, I don't know.
